In August 2018, 24 Youth Voice members attended annual training. As part of Youth Voice membership, participants are offered bespoke training tailored to their needs, with aim to support and enhance their skills to successfully complete their role within Youth Voice. These skills are transferable and support members when obtaining education or employment and navigating social events. All members will receive OCN level 1 accreditation to add to their CV, alongside developing confidence, communication and presentation skills, team building, challenging stereotypes and mentoring skills (older members).
Each Youth Voice member is given opportunity to attend consultations, conferences and sessions with organisations and local and central Government who offer homelessness support.
