Youth Voice can provide full day, in-depth consultations for your organisation.
Led by St Basils, our group of young people will work with your organisation to help you strengthen your approach to young people’s services, and learn techniques to effectively engage with your organisation.
The Youth Voice members involved in providing consultations value the opportunity and enjoy travelling to new places, experiencing new and different environments. They relish meeting professionals, facilitating discussions and debating viewpoints.
You can book Youth Voice Consultations for up to 3 days – please get in contact if you would like to discuss developing a bespoke training package for your organisation.
Case study: Fortis Living The brief: Help us engage with young people to develop a Youth Board
“The NYRG [National Youth Voice] have been advising and supporting us in developing a Youth Board. We have been so inspired by their enthusiasm and commitment. They have given us invaluable insight into engaging with young people. The young people from NYRG [National Youth Voice] that we’ve had the pleasure to meet have been polite and professional and are truly those who other young people can look up to….We could not recommend them highly enough, anyone looking to engage with young people should look no further than the NYRG [National Youth Voice]! If we achieve half the success that they have with the development of our Youth Board we will be delighted”
Case study: Lancaster University The brief: Training Clinical Psychology students
“It was a pleasure to work in collaboration with the young people from NYRG [National Youth Voice] on our recent teaching day to 3 cohorts of trainee clinical psychologists. The young people involved were professional and passionate; their high energy engaged the trainees well and I was particularly impressed with the confidence with which they spoke both about their own experiences and in facilitating the exercises we’d set up together. From the initial contact the process of planning the young people’s contribution to the teaching day through to its delivery was a smooth and professional one. The group were enthusiastic about being involved, happy to be asked to take a lead on certain tasks and creative in how they planned for and delivered these. It was an honour to hear their stories and work with them. Thank you for the opportunity!”
