Youth Voice support BCU students with Common Purpose Leadership Programme

January 10, 2018

Youth Voice Project staff today, have supported Birmingham City University students with a leadership programme, delivered by Common Purpose Student Experiences .

“Founded in the UK in 1989, Common Purpose UK runs leadership development programmes in the UK that inspire and equip people to work together across boundaries. Through exposing people to new experiences, new leaders and new perspectives, they learn about their own leadership”

A number of Birmingham City University students were asked to complete a task set by St Basils Youth Voice Project with aim to develop their leadership skills, develop partnership working and offer opportunity to make a practical change within the work place.
The students successfully completed the task set, with an imaginative and creative project idea, offering some fantastic insight for a potential future project.
It was a pleasure to support Common Purpose and Birmingham City University with this programme.
